About

Photographer, filmmaker, and observer of places worth remembering.

Where it started

As a child, I have vivid memories of carrying my parents’ Nikon camera through forests and meadows during summer days. I loved the act of noticing—light filtering through trees, textures in the landscape, moments that felt worth holding onto. Photography became a quiet companion early on, even if life eventually pulled my attention elsewhere for a while.

A few years ago, that pull came back strong. I rediscovered photography not just as a hobby, but as a creative outlet—one that allows me to slow down, observe, and create with intention. Since then, my work has focused primarily on landscapes, with a particular fascination for golf courses, night skies, and places shaped by both nature and design. Along the way, I’ve also found myself drawn to motion, creating short films that blend still imagery, movement, and music to reflect my personal travel experiences.

Seeing the land as design

Golf course architecture, in particular, feels like a natural intersection of art and environment. I’m endlessly inspired by the way great courses are shaped by the land itself—rolling terrain, natural contours, wind, light, and space all working together. Through my lens, I aim to capture not just how a course looks, but how it feels to stand there: the quiet drama of a green’s subtle movement, or the scale of a coastline stretching beyond the fairway.

Motion and Music

Music plays an equally important role in how I see and create. It’s a constant source of inspiration, influencing the rhythm and emotion behind my images and films. Whether discovering new artists or experiencing live performances, music helps shape the stories I want to tell—stories rooted in atmosphere, memory, and feeling.
When I work in motion, music often becomes the foundation. It sets the pace, informs the edit, and helps guide the emotional arc of each piece. I’m drawn to the quiet moments between notes as much as the crescendos—those subtle shifts where emotion lingers and meaning takes shape. In combining still imagery, motion, and sound, I aim to create work that feels immersive rather than explanatory.

A shifting perspective

More recently, my perspective has shifted in a new and meaningful way. Becoming a father has deepened my desire to explore and document the world around me—not just for myself, but to one day share those places and experiences with our son. Travel, landscapes, and moments that once felt fleeting now carry a sense of legacy: places worth remembering, revisiting, and passing along.
Through photography, I’m not just capturing where I’ve been—but creating a visual record of curiosity, wonder, and presence. Images meant to be looked back on, talked about, and someday experienced again together.

When I’m not working, golfing, or behind the camera, you’ll usually find me with my wife, Jen—my partner in life, travel, and curiosity—and our son. Exploring together has changed how I move through the world, encouraging a deeper attention to place, light, and fleeting moments. These experiences aren’t just memories in the making—they’re the foundation of the stories I hope to pass on, through images shaped by presence, patience, and feeling.
